Shipping
- Most orders paid for by noon are posted same day (excluding Public Holidays & weekends).
- We use Australia Post for most orders – all parcels are sent with a tracking number for peace of mind.
- Bulky items over 1200mm are sent via a courier service*.
*Motors, products over 1200mm and bulky parcels cannot be sent to a PO Box or office building due to the package size. Recipient must be present to sign for the consignment. Some postcodes may not be covered by our courier company, if in doubt please give us a call on 03 62322 322.
Please note: As we use Australia Post to deliver most of our parcels, Australia Post will require a signature from an occupant at the specified delivery address at the time of delivery, if no one is available to sign for the parcel a card will be left and the parcel re-directed to the nearest Post Office.
You will then be responsible for collecting the parcel from the Post Office. Please ensure your address details are correct as King Towbars and Trailers will not be responsible or liable for redelivery costs.
Mr Boats strongly recommends all deliveries be shipped to an address that is attended during business hours, to minimise the chance of any redelivery, delays and/or fees.
Delivery Time Frames
Most of our parcels arrive within 72 hours. We use an Australia Post e-parcel with delivery times of between 1 – 10 business days, depending on your delivery location. Australia Post deliveries are made during business hours, Monday to Friday only.
International Delivery
King Towbars and Trailers caters for the Australian domestic market only at this time. Although we are currently looking at making this a possibility we do not have current fulfil international requests.
Delivery to a PO Box/post office
Yes we deliver to all Australian Post office boxes. With the exception of motors, bulky items and products over 1200mm in length. We are happy to deliver to an alternate work address if this would suit. Please phone our Customer Support Team prior to ordering on 03 62322 322.
Pick Up
FREE Pick up available from 5 Florence Street Moonah Tasmania by appointment, please phone 03 62322 322 to arrange your pick-up.
Warranty
King Towbars and Trailers Warranty Policy
- Our Warranty
We warrant to You that:
(a) Product: The King Towbars and Trailers Product is free from defects in workmanship and materials for the Warranty Period.
(b) Service: The King Towbars and Trailers Service is provided with acceptable care, skill and knowledge and completed within a reasonable time.
- Fitting and Use
Please ensure You:
(a) fit the Product purchased in accordance with the Product Information and all relevant vehicle safety and compliance laws; and
(b) use the Product is for the purpose for which it was originally designed and in accordance with the Product Information and all relevant vehicle safety and compliance laws.
- Exclusions
Our warranty does not cover:
(a) normal wear and tear;
(b) fitting of the Product other than in accordance with the Product Information and all relevant vehicle safety and compliance laws,including incorrect fitting;
(c) using the Product other than for the purpose for which it was originally designed or other than in accordance with the Product Information and all relevant vehicle safety and compliance laws, including unusual, improper or negligent use or misuse or overloading;
(d) misuse or neglect of the Product, including improper repair or maintenance or failing to repair and maintain;
(e) alteration, abuse, acts of nature, terrorism, vandalism, collision, road hazards or adverse conditions;
(f) formal or informal competitive events, such as racing, rallying, hill climbing, speed trials or similar activities; and/or
(g) using the Product in underground mining or other highly corrosive environments.
- Making a Claim
Please immediately contact Us as soon as You become aware of a possible defect in the Product or noncompliance or delay in the Service, and:
(a) Product: We’ll either arrange for You to attend King Towbars and Trailers (at Your cost) for a King Towbars and Trailers representative to inspect the Product (as fitted to Your vehicle) or for You to return the Product to Us.
(b) Service: We’ll arrange for You to attend King Towbars and Trailers (at Your cost) for a King Towbars and Trailers representative to investigate the King Towbars and Trailers Service.
We’ll also request You to provide the purchase receipt and complete a warranty claim form. Please note that no warrant claim will be accepted without proof of purchase of the King Towbars and Trailers Product or King Towbars and Trailers Service. Please do not remove the fitted King Towbars and Trailers Product from Your vehicle before contacting Us. If Your claim is in order, we’ll notify You and (at Our sole discretion):
(a) Product: We’ll either repair or replace the defective workmanship or materials (at Our cost) or refund to You the purchase price You paid for the defective King Towbars and Trailers Product.
(b) Service: We’ll either resupply the King Towbars and Trailers Service (at Our cost) or refund to You the unused portion of the purchase price You paid for the non-complying King Towbars and Trailers Service. If further information or investigation is required or if the claim does not meet the requirements under Our warranty, we’ll let You know.
- Commercial Application
For all King Towbars and Trailers Products used for commercial applications including (without limitation) taxis, hire vehicles and use in the mining industry, King Towbars and Trailers warrants to You that the King Towbars and Trailers Product is free from defects in workmanship and materials for the Commercial Use Warranty Period.
- Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, You are entitled to:
(a) cancel Your service contract with Us; and
(b) receive a refund for the unused portion or compensation for its reduced value.
You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, You are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time.
If this is not done, You are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.
- Other Consumer Rights
The benefits to You under Our warranty are in addition to any other rights and remedies You are entitled to under relevant consumer laws. Our warranty replaces any other warranty given by King Towbars and Trailers or its supplier in respect of the King Towbars and Trailers Product or the King Towbars and Trailers Service.

Returns
Change of Mind We accept all change of mind returns as long as :
- It is lodged within 30 days of delivery
- It is in its original packaging, including instruction manuals and all accessories
- The Box/Packaging is unworn, unopened, unused and in its original condition
- Any sewn-in/Attached labels are still attached
Do bear in mind that all postage charges are the responsibility of the customer and refunds wont included postage costs.
The product is damaged or not working properly. What do I do?
Occasionally, the product you receive may have been damaged in transit, is not working properly, or may have a missing part. When that happens, please contact our customer service team on 03 322 322
We will pay for the postage of the broken item back to us for repair. If it cannot be repaired, we will send you a brand new replacement. You will need to call or email us first to organise to arrange any returns.
The product isn’t the same as what was shown on the website. What do I do?
In rare circumstances, product descriptions may be slightly inaccurate due to new models being released or features being added or removed.
If you receive a product from us that is not as described on the website, we will gladly accept your return.
We pay for postage of the product back to us and can offer you a full refund or store credit.
